Reimagining Highland Park Middle School

Update April 4: Students, staff and community members had the opportunity to reimagine Highland Park Middle School's possible new logo and colors. Participants submitted ideas and completed a survey. The results of the survey are located on the right under Survey Results.

Highland Park Middle School was opened in 1965 and has been home to the "Raiders." As Maya Angelou once said, "When you know better, you do better," and we are better than our current mascot. A raider is a person who attacks in order to steal, or someone who engages in hostile acts, and we know our Highland Park community is filled with people who are kind, respectful and encouraging. Therefore, it's time for us to reimagine our mascot and logo. As we get close to our 60^th anniversary, we'd love to have your input to help create a new vision of who we are and where we want to go.
